ABOUT ME

I started out my career in the news industry where I was a senior operational manager in the news industry. I then specialised in business and management information and reporting using tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, QlikView, SQL & Excel. This involved the aggregation, normalisation and presentation of complex data sets from a variety of sources including API's, XML & HTML feeds.
As I became more involved in the technical aspects of these processes it led to me working more closely with the software development teams which reignited my passion for software and lead to me switching over into a BA role. 
 

Since making this transition I've been fortunate enough to work on some fantastic projects for numerous companies across a variety of sectors including the news industry, social media, online gaming, estate agencies and the airline industry.

Outside of my day job I'm lucky enough to have achieved one of my life bucket-list items which is to buy and live on a canal barge. I paint and sell some of my work on Etsy and love science fiction, coffee, and my trusty side-kick Dougal - a rescue dog from Romania.
